How We Work

How we use AI on this site, and the one rule we won’t break.

Every brief on realnahal.com is drafted with AI help and reviewed by a person. Here’s exactly where the numbers come from and what the AI is allowed to do.

If a website says it uses AI to help you find a home, you should be able to ask: what does the AI actually do? Here’s our answer. It’s also on the methodology page, in more detail.

Where the numbers come from

  • Prices, rents and days on market: licensed market-data feeds from RentCast, matched to each area’s ZIP code and refreshed monthly.
  • Drive times: Google’s traffic model for a weekday 8:30 a.m. departure to your work address.
  • Street imagery: live Street View of the actual area, not stock photos.
  • Neighborhood ratings: six ratings from 1 to 10 for each area (schools, quiet, energy, nature, walkability, growth outlook). These are Nahal’s editorial opinion and are labeled that way.

How the match score works

Your answers set the weights. We blend lifestyle fit (about 44%), budget fit against live medians (about 28%), rush-hour commute (about 18%) and property-type availability (about 10%). Investors swap commute for gross rental yield. The formula is fixed. The same answers always give the same scores. The AI doesn’t decide who matches where.

What the AI is allowed to do

It drafts the writing in your brief. That’s all. It may only restate figures from the data above, and if a number isn’t available for an area, the brief shows nothing instead of a guess. Each recommendation comes with an honest drawback. Nothing is sent to you until Nahal has reviewed and approved it.
